Bead Soup Blog Party 2014 Reveal Day

Welcome to the 8th Annual Bead Soup Blog Party 2014.

I was so nervous when I decided to joint my first BSBP, but I am happy that finally, I can be a part of BSBP family :-D
I cannot described how happy I am when Lori Anderson paired me with a talented glass beads maker April Grinaway. As a first timer, I feels so lucky to have her as a partner. Her encouragement made me confident to sent my soup for her. I guessed all first timer will have the same problem like me, that we are worried our soup is not good enough.
Here it is my soup for April.

I also wrote about my soup here, I sent her some of my Handmade Polymer clay beads and pendant.

And here it is my soup from April.

She sent lots of awesome glass bead and pretty rainbow clasp.

My Creation

My inspiration for this design was the colors of the focal beads and the clasp, aren't they pretty?
I used one of the focal beads that April sent to me, I added a big Antiqued Pendant with Polymer clay applique to make this design more "Me" :-D. And I also made those colorful Polymer clay beads to matched the clasp.

Rainbow flowers

I only came up with one design this time, somehow I got to busy with some custom order from my customer and I run out of time, but I promised to my self to make another jewelry with April soups.
Here it is my creation:

The rainbow necklace

I love the color of this necklace, very Spring and bright :-D..
Here it is another picture of the "Rainbow necklace".

Thanks to Lori for created this event and make this event as an annual gathering all over the world. And thanks to you to who read my post today :-D.
Please heading to Lori Anderson post to see another participants and see you all next year !!

  40. You have made some very beautiful beads to complement your soup and even though you have used one focal, you made it shine! This means your partner's soup has inspired you not only to design but also to create more beads :)
