My Entry for The February Challenge " Operation Tackle That Bead Stash"

Cherry Ripe
Look at that luscious Cherry Ripe picture above!!!
I already inspired and excited from the first time I saw that picture. And I knew that I just had to joined this  February Challenge on Operation Tackle That Bead Stash. This time, we have to create something in Red, Black and Metallic Gold! and also we can add a twist to include Herringbone stitch in our creation.
If you interested to joined this challenge please click here.

Here it is my entry for this challenge at first, but I decided to glaze the pendant and beads to make them more shiny. So which one do you prefer, the necklace without shiny glaze or the necklace with shiny glaze?

Without any glaze.

With satin glaze

I used the second picture for the challenge, eventhough I prefer the one without the glaze :-D.

  1. Your design is lovely, Asri, and the perfect design based on your inspiration pic. You can't get much richer than red, black and gold :)

My personal preference is no glaze (I actually can't remember the last time I used it!) but rather to sand, buff and polish with Ren wax. Obviously, with dimensional details, sanding is limited.
